The Sale of Wally Yachts Kauris III

Kauris III, the sailing yacht at 32.9 meters has been sold at Wally Yachts and Franco Mercatelli has acted for both the buyer and the seller. This yacht is fully made of carbon fiber by the Wally Yachts which is a famous yard in Italy. The design of it has been done by Luca Bassani and the naval architecture has been done by German Frers.

The Kauris III was delivered for the first time in the year 2002 and it was a slope with high performance which had a canting keel. It underwent a refit a year back. Her interiors have been done by Piero Castellini in cherry wood and it has three cabins that can accommodate up to eight guests. All the cabins comprise of two twin and two Pullman berths along with entertainment centers and high-class facilities fixed inside. There are two more cabins where four crew members can easily sleep.

The yacht has a large saloon with a lounge area and a comfortable seating arrangement on settees. The upholstery of the settees is made of ecru fabric. There is also an entertainment center that includes a large built-in television screen. There is a large dining area to port where eight guests can comfortably accommodate. The central cockpit on deck consists of a table and is suitable for outdoor relaxation. The aft cockpit is dedicated fully for steering and navigation which has direct access to the master suite just below.

The design of the Kauris III can be termed as timeless because of the composite carbon construction that she has. This is the reason why she is so light in weight, fast, and simple handling methods to sail. The decks are uncluttered and open that has hidden lines for control making her move around in an effortless and simple manner. For power, she has one Caterpillar 385hp diesel engine that gives her a range of 1500nm at 10 knots.
